She was predeceased by: her parents, Carroll Ray James and Maureen Egerton Luhn; her husband Lance Harper; her son Danton Harper; her stepfather Richard Luhn; her brothers, Garry "Chuck" Oak and Mark Luhn; and her grandmother Frances Egerton.
She is survived by: her children, Darin Harper Shelley (Gyna) of North Vernon and Kristi Harper of Lexington; her brother Rick Oak (Donna) of Louisville, Kentucky; and her grandchildren, Skylar, Lance, Kylee, Haley, Jessica, Tamirra and Jasmine.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Carolyn Harper Memorial Fund to help with funeral expenses. Contributions may be made at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home or below.
