She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew William Sharp and Clara Sparks Sharp; her stepfather Lester C. Sammons; her brothers, A. W. Sharp, Bill Sammons and Her; and her husband George Elbert Russell.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory Russell (Cathy) of Lexington, Indiana and Connie Renschler (Bryan) of Lexington, Indiana; her grandchildren, Stacey Niccum (Joey) and Kelsey Hough (Brandon); her great grandchildren, Easton Niccum and Byron Hough; her siblings, James Sammons of Cincinnati, Ohio and Frankie Wilson of Strawberry Plains, Tennessee; and her sister-in-law Ann Sammons of Jacksboro, Tennessee. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
