It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Sue Shepherd (Lexington, Indiana), born in Corbin, Kentucky, who passed away on February 9, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fulton Coots and Doshie Hunter (Gray); her husband Ronald E. Shepherd; her stepfather Junior F. Hunter; and her siblings, Jackie Hunter, Charles Gray, Shirley Spicer and Mary Kay Gates.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Eugene Shepherd (Sibel) of Kaieserslautern, Germany, Vickie Sue Shepherd of Lexington, Patricia Lee Williams of Scottsburg, Indiana and Sandra Kay Williams (Alonzo) of Scottsburg, Indiana; her siblings, Bobbie Jean Gilbertson of Lexington, Betty Sue Haley (Dave) of Auxier, Kentucky, Lonnie Coots (Olga) of Columbus and Merrill Coots (Helen) of Viper, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Donnie Chambers (Katye), Maria Shepherd, Chasity Jones (Charles), Christina Shepherd (Alejandro), Gabriel Shepherd, Cody Williams, Brittany Stacy (James), Vanessa and Kayla Shepherd; and her great grandchildren, Casandra, Riley, Hailey, Maci, Keelea, McKinley, Carter and Kashton.
