It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Backus Myers of Lexington, Indiana, born in Madison, Indiana, who passed away on July 31, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pansy Marie Spry Backus and John Charles Backus; and her sisters-in-law, Donna Myers and Lynn Soden. She is survived by: her son Matt Myers of Chelsea, Indiana; her brothers, Pete Backus (Johann) of Madison, Rick Backus (Sheryl) of Madison, Eddie Soden of Covington and Bobby Soden (Joyce) of Covington, Kentucky; and her siblings-in-law, Sandra G. Pickett of Evansville, Indiana and Charles Lester Myers of Lexington, Indiana. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
