With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Reed Watson (Lewisville, Indiana), born in Madisonville, Tennessee, who passed away on August 20, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lige Watson and Vesta Watson (Isbill); his wife Laidean Brooks; his granddaughter Stephanie Watson; his son Steven Eugene Watson; and his sister Loretta Cochran.
He is survived by: his children, Nick Watson (Terri) of Noblesville, Debbie Spera (Randy) of New Castle and Rodney Watson (Cheryl) of Noblesville; his grandchildren, Jeremy Spera (Amy), Mandy McQueeny (Kyle), Cressie Welsh (Chase) and Tanner Watson (Kailani); his great grandchildren, Destiny Spera (Wyatt Krikie), Jackson McQueeny, Carter McQueeny, Callan Welsh, Carson Welsh and Nora Watson; his great great grandchild Malaya Krikie; and his brothers, Rual, Boyd "Curly", Ralph, Jim, Grady and Gary. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Alzheimer's Association 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601 in memory of Reed.
