She was predeceased by: her parents, James W. Turner and Rena Jane Turner (Jones); her husband Fredrick Hickman Jr.; her siblings, Hughes Turner, Nancy M. Upchurch and Opal C. Brock; her grandson Johnathan C. Strong; and her great grandchildren, Joel Engle and Ezra Henderson.

She is survived by: her children, John L. (Connie Hickman), Mike (Suzane Hickman), Susan (Roger Engle), Fred (Anne Hickman), Bruce (Margo Hickman), Garry (Deloris Hickman) and Nancy (John Strong).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lewisville Chapel (115 Main St, Lewisville, IN 47352). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
