She was predeceased by: her son Nelson Carpenter; her son-in-law Charles Frauli; her parents, Jeff Taulbee and Ethel Taulbee; and her siblings, Mildred, Christine, Freida, Betty, Norma and Joel.
She is survived by: her husband Lewis Carpenter; her children, Doug Carpenter (Teresa) of New Palestine and Shirley Frauli of Indianapolis, Indiana; her grandchildren, Amy Emerson (James) of Indianapolis and Stacey Carpenter of Evansville, Indiana; her great grandchildren, Mason Emerson and Delaney Emerson; and her brother Jeff Taulbee (Karen) of Jackson.
