She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Alvey and Bernadine Alvey (Froehlich); her parents-in-law, Willard and Myrtle James; her grandson Noah James; her siblings-in-law, Larry James, Tina Purcell, Karen Ann Etienne and Cheryl Lynn Redden; and her niece Holly Finley Clark.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald James of Leopold; her children, Chad James of Owensboro, KY, Robby James (Amy) of Boonville, Jami Smith (Rodney) of Bettendorf, IA, Niki Brown (Doug) of France and Keith James (Jennifer) of Tell City; her grandchildren, Taylor, Parker James, Eli, Abigail James, Davin, Trenton, Alea Smith, Logan, Caitlyn, Hayden, Isabelle Brown, Owen and Brennan James; and her siblings, Terry Alvey (Linda), Mona Goffinet (Joe), Byron Alvey (Lucy), Susan Hughes (Tom), Ralph Alvey (Marilyn), David Alvey (Patsy), Patricia Huffman (Jim), Bill Alvey (Wendy), Paul Alvey (Ginger), Julie Bellamy (Davies), Chris Alvey (Carol), Jackie Witvoet (Jerry) and Kevin Alvey (Diane). She is also survived by numerous brothers- and sisters-in-laws, nieces and nephews, uncles and aunts and cousins.
