He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Liechty and Sarah Liechty (Frey); his daughter Marla Huffman; his granddaughter Sarah Norris; and his siblings, Jesse Liechty (Margie), Simon Liechty (Leah), Omer Liechty (Mary), Reuben Liechty, Mildred Graber (Raymond), Delilah Seiler (Ralph), Mary Stuckey (Jesse), Ruth Shue (Charles) and Donna Brace.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Marie Brace of Spencerville, IN; his daughters, Carma Reincke (Tony) of Grabill, Connie Norris (Lonnie) of Huntertown and Sara Whittle of Rockwall, TX; his son-in-law Bill Huffman; and his siblings-in-law, Ruth E. Liechty of Sarasota, FL and William Brace of Auburn. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
