He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Kurtz and Erlena Kurtz (Yerks); his wife Mary Lou Kurtz; and his siblings, Thomas, Robert, Marjorie Klopfenstein, Mary Catherine Klopfenstein, Doris DeLong and Helen Lantz.
He is survived by: his son Andrew Kurtz (Kim) of Oak Park, Calif.; his grandsons, Jackson and Cole; and his brother George Kurtz of Leo.
