She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Arthur and Betty Arthur (Krabill); her husband Gene Lowden; and her sister Beverly Hechler. She is survived by: her children, Sheree Artherhults (Roger) of Leo, Teresa Longsworth (David) of Fort Wayne, Mark Lowden (Marnie) of Spencerville, Christopher Lowden (Amy) of Woodburn and Cory Lowden of Leo; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Hartman. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers or gifts, memorials may be made in Carolynn's name to Parkview Hospice.
