He was predeceased by: his parents, Opal Walston (Koons) and John Walston. He is survived by: his wife Betty Violet Walston; his children, Jonathon Walston (Courtney), Nicky Walston and Wende Dailey (Jason); his granddaughters, Mina, Shea Dailey, Amelia and Bailey Walston; and his siblings, Roger Walston (Rita) and Freda Gray. He is also survived by many sisters and brothers-in-law also nieces and nephews.
