It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emery Dale Bontrager of Leesburg, Indiana, born in Kokomo, Indiana, who passed away on March 28, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Bontrager and Fannie Bontrager (Miller); his wife Emma "Maxine" Mast; his son Gregory Bontrager; his grandson Andrew Overman; and his siblings, Ruby Hershberger, Celesta Miller, Alvin Bontrager and Lloyd Bontrager.
He is survived by: his daughters, Theresa Overman (Wayne) and Peggy Coon (Clint); his daughter-in-law Nancy Yoder; his grandchildren, Matthew Overman, Zachary Coon, Sarah Ponsler, Lauren Frey, Ashlyn Dunlap, Jordan Bontrager, Aaron Bontrager and Carly Dobson; and his sisters, Martha Sommers of Goshen and Clara Keim of Goshen. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
