She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Bryan and Bernice Opal Spurgeon (Gregg); her husband James B. Swackhamer; her sisters, Winifred Kern (Robert), Phyllis Dobbins (Don) and Joan Heide (John); and her son-in-law Dr. Michael McDonald.
She is survived by: her children, Connie McDonald of Zionsville, Gregg Swackhamer (Sue) of Cave Creek, AZ and Jeff Swackhamer (JoAnn) of Frankfort; her grandchildren, Dr. Brent McDonald (Christie) of Indianapolis, Erin Stanfield (Stephen) of Fredericksburg, VA, Bryan James Swackhamer of Shoreview, MN, Emily Swackhamer of St. Louis, MO and Mary Swackhamer (Nick Hipko) of Phoenix, AZ; and her great grandchildren, Ellie, Blake McDonald, Evan, Mark Stanfield, Isaiah, Logan and Mila Swackhamer. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
