She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Garrell and Rose Garrell (Moore); her son David H. Kirby, II; her grandson Jeffrey Swafford; and her son-in-law T. J. Nelson.

She is survived by: her husband David Kirby of Lebanon; her daughters, Michelle Williams (Josh) of Thorntown, Melissa Nelson (Ryan Ottinger) of Lebanon, Lisa Smith (Keith) of Berea, KY, Tammy Swafford (Jeff) of Lebanon and Angela Halford of Lebanon; her sisters, Lila Garrell, Rena Parker and Diana Northcott (Glenn) of Lebanon; and her grandchildren, Brandy Kirby, Brandon Clevenger, Cortney Jones, Lindsey Mofford, Christopher Halford, Sydney Henderson, Jackson Williams, Cooper Williams, Ethan Williams, Cade Nelson, Reid Nelson, Sloan Nelson, Kobe Ottinger and Kylie Ottinger. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Addiction Recovery.
