She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Eugene and Martha Harmon (Spaugh) of Virginia; and her brother Richard E. Harmon. She is survived by: her husband John R Batts; her son Brian; her grandchildren, Cody Gatewood of Avon, William Gatewood of Avon and Kaylee Gatewood of Avon; and her close friend John R. Batts of Advance. She is also survived by children, grandchildren, great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
