She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred R. Hood and Mabel E. Hood (Carson); her husband James Madison Watson; her daughter-in-law Sharon Watson; and her brother-in-law Nik Gottwald.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Watson (Linda) of Paoli, IN, Clayton Watson (Mary Lou) of Wabash, IN and Cynthia Watson of Lebanon; her siblings, Jack Hood (Wanda) and Jane Gottwald; her grandchildren, Grace Marshall (Thomas), Isaac Watson (Carrie) and Laura Watson-Lindley (Patrick); and her great grandchildren, Eli Watson, Emilia Marshall, Orion Watson, Charlotte Watson and Christopher Glenn Lindley.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary (2400 N Lebanon St, Lebanon, IN 46052). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
