With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Eugene Thompson of Lebanon, Indiana, born in Richmond, Indiana, who passed away on September 12, 2021 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Leon and Mary Elena Thompson (Ruby). He is survived by: his former wife Florence Kay Rader; his wife Kay Thompson of Lebanon; his children, Leon Thompson of Colfax, Rhonda MacLauchlan (D. J.) of Zionsville and Michael Thompson (Wendy Thorp) of Lebanon; his sister Barbara Virag of West Alexandria, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Kyle, Audrey, Kian MacLauchlan and Tempe Thompson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made in Ron's honor to the American Heart Association or to the American Diabetes Association.
