He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Posey and Lorene M. Posey (Holt). He is survived by: his wife Lisa Posey (Taylor) of Lebanon; his sons, David Venis (Stephanie) of Illinois and Charles "Casey" Posey of Lebanon; and his sisters, Brenda Jones of Lebanon and April Fields (David) of Lexington, Kentucky..
