He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Deakins and B. Gertrude Deakins (Youngs); his son Ricky Deakins; his siblings, Earvin Deakins and Sue Doan; and his brother-in-law Max Lowery.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Rose; his daughters, Marcia Mustin (Mike) and Lisa Hesler (Brock); his grandchildren, Courtney Henry (Kyle), Ryan Deakins (Christina), Brittany Whitman (Josh), Nicholas Deakins, Bradley Mustin (Trisha), Cayla Walker (Mark), Katlyn Krueger (Terry) and Blake Hesler; his great grandchildren, Owen, Jackson, Shelby, Broden, Paityn, Sebastian, Silver-Noel, Lily, Piper, Makenna, Haley, Quincy and Janey; his siblings, Gary Deakins (Bonnie) and Marilyn Lowery; and his brother-in-law Bob Doan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
