He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul E. Thompson and Dora Thompson (Newman). He is survived by: his children, Randall E. Thompson, Jr. (Angie) of Vanleer and Candy A. Thompson of Lebanon; and his grandchildren, Shane Mattingly, Ashleen Calloway, Chasity Pryll, Ashley Townes and James Taylor. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
