She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Strychalski and Stanley Strychalski (Stryke) of Lebanon, IN; her husband Larry Hummel; her sister Janet Meece; and her brother-in-law Stanley Meece.

She is survived by: her pets, Callie and Brownie; her siblings, Jo Ann Brown (Troy) of Lafayette, IN, Chuck Strychalski (Debbie) of Lebanon, IN and Paul Strychalski (Mary Ann) of Pittsboro, IN.; her niece Jennifer Drye (Steve) of Fishers, IN; her friend Debbie Lutes of Brownsburg, IN.; and also Jason Grubbs.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Boone County.
