He was predeceased by: his mother Myrtle Caldwell (Gilliam); his wife Jere'; his siblings, Linda Portish (Portish) and Dennis Caldwell; and his brothers-in-law, Alan Smith (A. K.) and H. Joseph Portish.
He is survived by: his stepfather Don Caldwell; his sisters, Melva Sue Caldwell (Smith), Pamela (Lonsdale) and Jere' Gilliam (Buell); his granddaughter Crystal Lee; his children, Jon G Gilliam (Julie) of Lebanon and Crystal L. Gilliam of Lebanon; his grandson Todd Morton (Allyson) of Lafayette; his children, Sydney Hunt (Joshua) of Cloverdale and Jack Gilliam (Claire) of Lebanon; his great grandchildren, Griffin, Tucker Morton, Ada Hunt and Hank Gilliam; and his sister Melva Sue Smith (Pamela Jo Lonsdale).
