He was predeceased by: his father John; his wife Jean Cross (Snellenberger); his brother Raymond Cross; his nephew Tom Cross; his niece Margaret-Ann Estep (Cross); and his siblings-in-law, Don Gardner, Chris Litscher, Joseph Dixon, Russell Snellenberger, Bonita Snellenberger, Nancy Snellenberger and Kay Dixon.
He is survived by: his sons, David Cross (Amy) and Ron Cross; his grandchildren, Jonathan Cross and Anda Arroway; his nieces, Jan Messer (Cross) and Sue Cross; his nephew Raymond Scott Cross; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Gardner, Helen Litscher and Earl Snellenberger.
