She is survived by: her daughters, Natalie Patterson and Shelbie Hashem; her granddaughter Evelyn; and her siblings, Maria Mendez-Hogan of Gilroy, CA, Marcia Mendez of St. Petersburg, FL, Susan Mendez-Crabtree of Winter Park, FL, Anita Mendez-Little of Fishers, Elizabeth Mendez-Snider of Indianapolis and Michael Mendez of Indianapolis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
