He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Herbert and Freda Alma Creighton (Shields); his grandson Ryan Thomas; and his siblings, Ruth Jansen (Leonard), Elsie Roenfeldt (Charles), Dorothy McCroskey, Herbert Creighton and Bob Cawiezell.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Kling; his children, Stephanie Tucker (Rick) of Eldridge, Teresa Thomas (John), Brenda Wilson (Greg) and Brad Creighton (Lynnette) of Bettendorf; his grandchildren, Michelle Hayes (Josh), Jenelle Havill (Chad), Kyle Tucker (Heather), Adam Tucker, Meredith Robertson (Matt), Malerie Webber, Spencer Wilson (Megan), Craig Frericks (Brigid) and Johnathon Creighton; his siblings-in-law, George McCroskey and Iris Creighton (Rathgen); and his nephew Bart Cawiezell.
