He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Cleveland and Edna Pearl Hedges (Cochran); and his siblings, James Hedges, Francis "Tom" Hedges, Donald "Whitey" Hedges, Ernest Hedges and Pearl Rogers.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Hedges (Belcher); his son David Hedges (Amy); his grandsons, Isaac and Thomas Hedges; his sister Thelma Yaryan; and his sisters-in-law, Susie Hedges, Patricia Hedges, Margaret Hedges and Susan Wallis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
