With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John D. Hawkins of Lebanon, Indiana, who passed away on December 29, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Richard and Alice Mae Hawkins (Campbell); his wife Yolanda Hawkins (Martinez); his brothers, Robert William "Bob" Hawkins and Ralph Paul Hawkins; his grandson Colin Michael Hawkins; and his sister-in-law Rebecca S. "Becky" Hawkins.
He is survived by: his children, John "Dave" David Hawkins (Alice Rademacher) of Indianapolis, Mike Hawkins (Cathy) of Ferdinand, Rob Hawkins (Carol) of Lebanon and Tracey Shaw (Marty) of North Salem; his grandchildren, Devan Dant (Duncan) of North Salem, Ben Hawkins (Courtney) of Evansville, Haley Stiverson (Tyler) of Lebanon, Dylan Shaw (Rachel Guzzi) of Broad Ripple and Blake Hawkins (Emily Bowman) of Thorntown; his great grandchildren, Mason Stiverson, Oakley Dant, Sophia Stiverson and Locklyn Hawkins; his siblings, Richard G. "Dick" Hawkins of Lebanon, Nolan C. Hawkins (Sandy) of Lebanon and Margaret L. "Peggy" Hedrick (Tom) of Crawfordsville; and his sister-in-law Ada Hawkins (Jim Herring) of Lebanon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
