She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Peabody and Mildred Peabody (Ek); her husband Wendell O. "Wendy" Meenach; her son-in-law James "Jim" Ping; her brothers, John Peabody, Harold Peabody and David Peabody; her siblings-in-law, Emma Jean Horlacher (Lloyd), Valeria Fine (Tom) and Jim Hollingsworth; her niece Shary Johnston; and her nephew Mike Horlacher.
She is survived by: her daughter Joni Ping of Lebanon; her granddaughters, Amy Ping Burke (Jerry) and Amanda Ping Trimble; her great grandchildren, Madeline "Maddie" Burke-Shumacher (Brandon Shumacher) of Little Rock and Marley Burke; her friends, Cory Cronin of Lexington, Eleaner "Ella" Burke of Statesboro, James Burke of Statesboro, Georgia, Lauren Trimble of Whiteland and Henry "Hank" Trimble of Whiteland, Indiana; her sister Ruth Ann Hollingsworth of Lakeland, Florida; her sisters-in-law, Bea Peabody of Lebanon and Madalyn Peabody of Lebanon; and also Millie. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Jeanie's request was for memorials to assist her daughter with the help of chemo medication, which is quite expensive in treating her cancer of Myelofibrosis.
