He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Mikesell and Martha Mikesell (Cox); his wife Gloria Jean Mikesell; and his brothers, Charles Mikesell and John Mikesell of Lebanon.
He is survived by: his children, Jim Mikesell (Stacey) of Rochester, Travis Mikesell of Indianapolis and Rose McNeely of Florida; his siblings, Lester Mikesell (Melody) of Anderson and Betty Burruss of Danville; and his close friend Edwina "Nina" Schaffer. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
