He was predeceased by: his siblings, Vern McVey and Clara Frye. He is survived by: his children, James William "Bill" McVey (Leoni) of Chicago, Richard Allen "Rick" McVey (Janice) of Woodland Park and Jean Ellen Daly (Daniel); his grandchildren, Jennifer (Susan), Melanie, Mark (Elizabeth) and Alana (Sean); and his great grandchild Andrew.
