Harold R. Byrd Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold R. Byrd of Lebanon, Indiana, born in New Albany, Indiana, who passed away on September 4, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Estel Herman and Marguerite Byrd (Bennett); his wife Melva Dean Klee; his son Gregory Alan Byrd; and his siblings, Ruth Higgins, Larry Lynn and Bill.
He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Lynn Byrd Wood (Chris) of Fort Wayne; his daughter-in-law Sara Steinbacher; his brother Paul Byrd (Jean) of San Diego, California; and his sisters-in-law, Sally Byrd of Lebanon and Mary Jane Klee of Holland, Indiana. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
