He was predeceased by: his parents, Orpha Francis and Ruth Caroline Hester (Bien); and his siblings, Lowell L. Hester and Illa Jean Gage. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hester (Price); his children, Denise Anne Bushman (Jeff) of Frankfort, Nancy Christina Timmons (Rick) of Kirklin, Alan Dennis Hester (Rosanne) of Zionsville and Angela Ruth Jones (Jonathan) of Richmond Hill, Georgia; his brother Dallas L. Hester (Niomi) of Noblesville; and his sister-in-law Betty Hester. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
