He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira G. Henry and Mildred M. Henry (Knight). He is survived by: his wife Betty L. Henry (Rusteberg) of Lebanon; his children, David E. Henry, Jr. (Lisa), Donna S. Bechard (Alan), James M. Henry (Sandy) and Judy R. Schafer (Chad); and his grandchildren, Joseph, Sarah (Jon), Kaitlyn, Kymbirlie (Travon), Zachary, Danielle (James), Jessica, Justin (Ashley), Stephanie, Isreal, Erin, Casey (Cameron), Isaiah and Isaac. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Walnut Street Baptist Church.
