She was predeceased by: her parents, George Earl and Elizabeth May Rutledge (White); her husband Samuel Evert Chatman; and her daughter Rhonda Chatman. She is survived by: her children, Samuel D. Chatman (Susan) of Evansville, Jeffrey L. Chatman (Stacy) of Lebanon, Denise L. Parmley (Shelby) of Cutler, Daniel E. Chatman (Hope) of Avon, Kimberly S. Rodgers (Jeff) of Lebanon and Raymon'S. Chatman (Becky) of Lafayette; her son-in-law Dominick Strafaci of Whitestown; and her siblings, Larry Rutledge of Muncie and Jackie Frye of Lebanon. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
