He was predeceased by: his mother Alice May Howell (Wilson); his stepmother Marilyn "Pat" Howell; and his sister-in-law Sandy Howell (Anderson). He is survived by: his father Oscar Melvin; his children, Abby Lietz (Lukas), Charitie Martino (Jonny), Zach Howell, Isaiah Howell and Alicae Howell; his grandchildren, Adelaide, Noelle Martino, Garrett Howell, Ariella and Kenzie Hamrick; his former wife Nancy Arnott; his siblings, Tim Howell, Cris Jester (Mitch) and Steve Howell (Debbie); and also Holly.
