He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde P. Earl and Delma M. Earl (Emerick); his spouse Ernesteen "Tina" Earl (Allen); and his children, Daniel E. Earl, Piper S. Earl and William R. Earl.
He is survived by: his former wife Geraldine L. Earl (Shinkle); his children, Douglas R. Earl of Lebanon, Kimberly S. Veach of Lebanon and Mary M. Akin of Lebanon; his stepdaughter Glenda M. Pharis (Don) of Thorntown; his grandchildren, Daniel Veach (Missi), Nicole Hollingsworth (Neil), Michael A. Akin, William R. Earl, Amanda C. Earl, Sean D. Veach and Jeremy E. Akin; and his brothers, Ralph Earl (Barbara) of Madison and Don Earl of Indianapolis. He is also survived by several stepchildren and step grandchildren.
