He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Pennington and Flora Pennington (Allen); his siblings, Alvin, Ennis, Frank, Uzella Nietzel, Marcella Luckey and Artilla Williams; and his grandson Dustin Pennington.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Pennington (Isenhower); his children, Charlie N. Pennington, II (Lora), Jim Nance (Christy), William "Jesse" Pennington (Lisa), Jamie Nance (Dodie), Lisa Pennington-Russ, Romey Nance (Debbie), Roanna Pennington and Crystal Pennington-Womock; and his siblings, Arvil Pennington (Phyllis), Thomas Pennington (Roxanne) and Fern Baringer (Steve). He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Myers Mortuary (1502 N Lebanon St, Lebanon, IN 46052). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
