She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Hanks and Hilda Hanks; her husband Glenn Ester; her grandson Robby Metcalfe; her siblings, Madelyn Meeks, Jean Bultman, Richard (Hanks) and Donnie Hanks; and her siblings-in-law, Deloris Foist and Richard Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Ron Ester (Phylllis) of Burlington, KY and Glenna Hertel (Michael) of Brookville, IN; her sister Nancy Smith of Greendale, IN; her grandchildren, Timmy Metcalfe (Shelly), Tracy Ester and Shawn Ester (Jessi); and her great grandchildren, Trenton Ester, Coen Ester, Cameron Metcalfe (Amanda), Dylan Metcalfe and Emily Metcalfe.
