He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Thorpe and Laverna Thorpe (McCool); his siblings, Mary Jane Donathan and Jerr Thorpe; and his daughter Lee Ann Thorpe.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Thorpe; his daughter Reni Conrad (Kevin); his grandchildren, Martin Ginn, Brad Conrad (Becca) and Allyson Varney (Cody); his great grandchild Eleanor Ginn; and his siblings, Pamela Gates (Bill), Carole Kadetz, Georgetta Eggleston, Jodi Roark, Shirley Razor and Mark Thorpe (Karen). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
