With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Margaret Prakel of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Margaret left this world on February 16, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George T. Yauger Sr. and Margaret A. Yauger (Reeves); her husband Don Prakel; her son Steve Prakel; her son-in-law Pete Arnold; and her siblings, Jean Evans, George Yauger Jr., Terry Yauger and Paul Yauger.
She is survived by: her sister Edwina "Cookie" Love; her children, Dawn Jane Arnold (Jim Jung) and Thomas Michael Prakel (Kim); her daughter-in-law Carolyn Prakel; and her grandchildren, Tim Fassold (Amber), Destiny Rutzel (David), Matt Prakel, April Pearson (Matthew), Majestica Placke (Zach), Montana Prakel and McKenna Prakel (Josh). She is also survived by her 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church (542 Walnut St, Lawrenceburg, IN 47025). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
