She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Emma Esthridge; her husband Robert "Bob" Bailey; her sister Jean Miller; and her daughter Cheryl Lynn. She is survived by: her children, Sheila Hartwell (John) and Robert Bailey (Theresa); and her grandchildren, Jordan Gunter (Krystal), Jarrett Gunter, Jezika Gunter (Kyle Hunziker), Andrew Hartwell (Karly), Matthew Hartwell (Katarina), Nathan Bailey and Andrew Bailey. She is also survived by numerous aunts, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association in memory of Joan.
