He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Gibbs and Hattie Gibbs; his wife Carol; his siblings, Elmer Gibbs, Geraldine Mantini, William Gibbs, Irene Gourley, Elsie Thurston, Opal Ellis, Roger Gibbs, Clayton Gibbs, Daniel Gibbs and Mary Hunt; and his grandsons, Kevin R. and Keith A. Skaggs.
He is survived by: his children, Susan J. Skaggs (Tom), Darrell E. Gibbs (Donna), Kenneth Gibbs (Mary) and Kathy A. Bonomini (Joseph); his grandchildren, Christopher, Nicole, Michael, Matthew, Mark, Joseph, Kelsey, Rebecca, Gregory and Bradley; and his siblings, Glenn Gibbs, Gilbert Gibbs, Bertha Smith and Wanda Schultz.
