She was predeceased by: her parents, Wiltz Burkhart and Eula Burkhart (Lee); her son Quenton Lauer; and her siblings, Evelyn Early, Willie Jo Prebeck and Samuel Burkhart Early.

She is survived by: her husband Steven Lauer of Lawrenceburg, IN; her daughter Belinda Billingsley (Jeff) of Greendale, IN; her grandchildren, Logan Thomas and Madison Thomas; and her siblings, Patsy Chappell, Tannah Patrick, Wilma Brown, Cathy Plowman, Jewell Lay and Malcolm Burkhart.
