He was predeceased by: his parents, James Kay Polk Hensley and Verda Mae Godsey Hensley; and his siblings, Janice Sharp, Helen Kline, James R., Jack K. and George W. Hensley.
He is survived by: his children, Beth Ann Hensley Bradford (Brad) of Paris, Timothy L. Osborn of Connersville and Shirley Jolly; and his grandchildren, Bennett Bradford (Kristen), Shelby Powell, Amanda Powell, Bobby Powell (Rachael), Kyle Bradford, Will Thompson, Betsy O. Anton and Becky Jo Osborn. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
