He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Frank and Martha Hacker Schmid; his spouse TomiJo Bolton Griffin; his children, Ryan Dale Schmid (Kat), James Griffin and Michaele Schmid; his grandchildren, Carson Griffin, Malaki Griffin, Michael Griffin, Gage Roberts Griffin, Adrionna Griffin, Michael Schmid, Lucy Roland and Lylah Roland; and his siblings, Barbara Nichols (James) of Fl, James Schmid (Sully), Shirley Marr (Bill), Marilyn Anderson of Brookville, Frannie Watson (Robert) of Brookville, Wanda Monroe (Keith) of Brookville, Vickie Cooper (Jeff) of Oxford, Kathy Mclaughlin (Mike) of Batesville, Lillie Mae Hubbard (Dan) of Liberty, Belinda Bolton of Laurel, Amanda, Richie and Bruce Boyer. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
