She was predeceased by: her husband John Rose; her sons, Gilbert Rose and Wesley Rose; and her brother Marvin Hicks. She is survived by: her sons, Charles Rose (Rita) of Laurel and Randal Rose (Theresa Lovins-Halpin) of Laurel; and her siblings, Enoch Hicks (Veda) of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Venice Gilbert of Moorehead, Charlene Callihan of Olive Hill and Joy Davis of Mansfield, Ohio.. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Buena Southern Baptist Church or the Fayette County Cancer Society.
