He was predeceased by: his parents, Helmuth Fields and Geneva Fields (Creech); his siblings, Glenn, Harold, Helmuth "Bud", Howard Fields, Alma Reece and Annalee Fields; his son-in-law Jeff Coon; his granddaughter Emily Walters; and his great grandchild Mason Yarbrough.
He is survived by: his former wife Pamela Mae Matney; his children, Margaret Flint (Miles) of Laurel, IN, Linda Reno of Laurel, IN, Dale Ann Coon (Jeff) of Connersville, IN, Wilbur Fields (Valerie) of Laurel, IN, Arnold Fields (Megan) of Laurel, IN, Pamela Hood (Jake) of Glenwood, IN, Nicole Harsh (Jason) of Laurel, IN. and Penny Myers of Columbus, IN; his wife Pam Fields; and his sisters, Edith Hollar of Homer, IN and Peggy Young of Oxford, OH.
