He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Peter Yingst and Goldie Augusta Yingst (Hazzard); and his brother Daniel W. Yingst. He is survived by: his wife Beverly J. Bowers; and his children, Goldie Elizabeth Roberts (Andy), Timothy A. Yingst (Deborah), Julie A. Stanley (David) and Samuel L. Yingst (Catherine). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith & Sons Funeral Home (207 N Main St, Columbia City, IN 46725). A masonic service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
