He was predeceased by: his parents, John Auer and Francis Auer (Flaugher); and his brothers, Delmar and Thomas Auer. He is survived by: his wife Lucinda Kay "Cindy" Corbin; his children, Timothy Auer (Laura) of Fort Wayne, Angela Marie Auer of Delaware, Ohio and Joseph Lynn Auer (Jessica) of Larwill; and his grandchildren, Kathryn Schram (Kyle), Tristan Auer, Jobie Auer and Jay Auer.
